Conference with professional business and trade associations
The Conference with professional business and trade associations was held on 24th September 2019 in Novi Sad, at the StartIT Center.
The project was presented by Aleksandar Ristin, Project Manager, who emphasized the significance of the planned activities, as well as the implications they will have on youth employability.
Mina Stefanović from HTEC Group spoke about modern communication and what it represents, especially in terms of employability.
The representative of Vega IT spoke about the art of teamwork and its importance for employability.
After that, the attendants had the opportunity to practice their key employability skills during the practical, interactive part of the conference: YES Club language exchange with the representatives of Levi9, Vega IT, Mad Had Games, Nordes, HTEC companies. The attendants got a first hand impresion about the efficiency of language exchange method for raising of their communication, foreign languages and teamworks skills, and found out what it looks like to work for the abovementioned companies through direct conversations with their representatives in their target languages.
After the language exchange session, Mladen Ćirić, PhD in Linguistics and Administrator of Polyglot Club Serbia, spoke about the importance of boosting language exchange platforms for youth employability and mobility in Western Balkans.
